A maker/artist space that I know and love called South River Studios burned down over night.

Many artist friends and artisans have lost everything.

Consider giving if you can

Protectionism and environmental review are strangling progressive transportation objectives.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed 4 years ago. In new research @urbaninstitute.bsky.social we study its effects.

US transport spending increased by 30%, but:
—Funding for non-highway projects flatlined

Here is the website NIMBYs have set up to oppose a Permanent Support Housing project in Kirkwood. They would rather people sleep in the freezing temperatures outside than see this development be built on church property.

I saw someone on my timeline shaming someone else for posting about college football in a time like this.

Folks, if we're going to survive a time like this, we're going to need to avoid burning out from an attitude of 24/7 vigilance and constant outrage.

Let people find joy where they can, please.

Atlantans, have you talked to your friends across the State of Georgia about KLB?

Because "phenomenal" ain't the adjective we use. More like "incompetent" or "absentee."
