I like how Krasner winning an almost unprecedented third term as Philly DA by stomping the walrus mustached city court judge who quit the bench to try to take him out first in the primary and again as a Republican in the general isn’t even folded into the national Dem sweep coverage.

Research is clear: millionaire flight due to higher taxes is simply not a thing. Millionaires move *less* than the rest of us and often move from one higher-tax state to another (because of amenities!). prospect.org/2025/10/23/m...
The Myth That Mamdani Will Cause New York City’s Richest to Leave - The American Prospect
Millionaire tax flight would devastate a future Mamdani administration. If the rich leave, how could anything be financed? But research shows that wealthy individuals move at lower rates than others, ...

The Democrats biggest win in the past 50 years came after a blood curdling primary in 2008.

People who abuse their power in one way abuse it in every way. Cuomo and Trump are such men.
Lindsey Boylan was the first of about a dozen women to accuse Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment and is now supporting Zohram Mamdani for mayor of New York City.

Mamdani: "I just want to speak directly to the president. I will not be a mayor like Mayor Adams who will call you to stay out of jail. I won't be a disgraced governor like Andrew Cuomo who will call you to ask how to win this election. I can do those things on my own."

A good time to remind people that Clinton was gearing up to run in 2020, and the only thing that stopped her was people were so uninterested in seeing her on her tour with Bill that one of the Clintonland people got her to realize she'd lose and it'd be humiliating:

I’m glad Van Jones apologized for his sick joking about dead kids in Gaza.

But the problem goes deeper: he spread Netanyahu propaganda that the mass killings of civilians in Gaza—including 20K+ kids—is Iranian fake news.

It’s not the students and young people who are fooled. It’s Van Jones.

Sen. Brian Schatz, a Democrat from Hawaii, bailed on Bluesky because people kept pointing out how often he would vote for Trump’s bullshit while talking tough.
