after decades of “vote blue no matter who” to preserve the power of cartoonishly corrupt officials, now it’s literally “vote blue unless he’s brown.” once again proving industry dems are not working for NYers best interests, which is exactly why they don’t want someone who MIGHT in office
here on election day eve the thing about zohran’s campaign—which to me, a lifelong NYer, has felt like the first authentic hope for my city we’ve had in a while—is that the backlash has proved the “democratic” party to be just as openly, comfortably wh!te supremac!st as any other party.

I really liked gdt’s Frankenstein!! it’s been a while since I read that lovely formative text but to me it felt like such a faithful adaptation, in both theme & tone <3 and i had fun!!
