People often talk about BDS supporters being hypocritical on other issues but if you're concerned first and foremost with hypocrisy you should probably look at how center left governments in North America talk about comprehensive sanctions on Iran vs even the narrowest sanctions on Israeli settlers.

In the case of Iran it's a given that making it more difficult for every Iranian to eat is an unfortunate but necessary component to coercing the IRI Into abandoning nuclear enrichment and in the case of Israel it's considered a grave and bigoted attack to suggest that settler wine not be imported
