I read the entirety of 'The Breach,' a role-playing game by @matteosciutteri.it on the plane back from Cancun. It's a simple RPG with a focus on episodic, collaborative role-playing and reminds the GM constantly to NOT TELL A STORY.

I created the first RPG Maker community in Italy, translating RPG Maker 2000 hacking its hexadecimal code.
From that community (and the others born after it), many developers start their careers. Including Chris Darril and @cheerfulgoth.bsky.social

I could say my GDC 2016 talk video which has over 1M views that inspired a bunch of indies (they told me).
But maybe it's recognising the importance of Steam wishlists in and coming up with the Birkett Ratio (week1 sales per wishlist) in 2018?

So... I discovered that I wrote the "secret lore" of Stranger Things 20 years ago for my old LARP (not 1:1 but veeeeery very similar). The difference is that I lost money making the LARP for my friends and their friends, the Duffer Brothers are now rich. Cool.
