The deportations are about to turn into detentions.

There isn’t money in deporting folks, but there is in detaining them…

Some believe grassroots activism and campaigning don’t qualify you to be a strong deputy leader 🤔

I couldn’t disagree more

The @greenparty.org.uk needs leaders who are grounded in real action, not just titles and 'power'

Proud to see our current deputy leader consistently leading by example 🌱 ✊🏼

We urgently need a wealth tax!
Inequality is making everyone’s lives worse.

Everyone except the billionaires, the multi-millionaires, the 1%. Their lives are only getting easier.

The Green Party is the only party that wants to effectively tax wealth.

Let’s make this country a little more fair shall we… 💰

Trying to figure out Labour's principles in 2025...

Balancing the books on the back of disabled people and those who care for them is cruel and wrong.

There is no moral case for making benefit cuts the priority for a Labour Government.

Denying refugees citizenship simply on the grounds that they arrived here “illegally” on small boats *when there are no legal routes* for most to use takes cynicism to new heights. If Govt thinks such performative cruelty will see off Reform, they’re wrong - it’s more likely to strengthen it

The two main things fuelling Reform are dissatisfaction with immigration policy and dissatisfaction with/distrust in politics/the system. It's odd that the big two parties only ever go in for the fight they can't win (you just can't out anti-immigration Reform), with no real interest in the other.
This is ghoulish from Labour. Using people's suffering to try and appease Reform, which is something no-one will ever go far enough for. Labour has the potential to actually be doing something to reduce hostility. Instead they are stoking anti-migrant attitudes just like the Conservatives did.
