The Treasury Department has its own Epstein file containing thousands of bank records. My investigators reviewed a portion of those records last year. I've demanded the Secretary Bessent produce the file for further investigation. He has refused repeatedly.

Odd that the DoJ is opening an investigation into the Epstein files since they said in July that there was no client list and nothing to release.

JB #Pritzker just went nuclear on #Trump:

“Donald Trump & his bootlickers have torn down the Department of Education from the inside. Books are being banned. History is being erased. And Donald Trump and his cronies can f*** all the way off.”

John Smoltz sounds nervous tonight because he knows after Scherzer is done he’s going to be sacrificed to the Bunt God and Scherzer is going to take his place in the booth. The writ was signed with blood and smoke. The wicker pyre awaits. The color man will be born again.

Republicans are lazy.

They gerrymander their way into power and never lift a finger again. Do you think they have ever put a petition together and worked hard enough to get something on the ballot and then knocked doors to get voters out so it will pass?

No. They are lazy freeloading sloths.

It's truly amazing how completely and totally feckless Democratic leadership is at a time when the GOP is malicious, incompetent and incredibly dangerous.

There is a moment here that needs meeting and no one in Dem leadership who seems to have any interest in even trying to meet it.
The Trump administration’s threat to deploy troops in Portland is unlawful.

Here’s a thought.

Focus on protecting the healthcare of the American people.

HE DOESNT WANT TO WORK WITH YOU

WHEN WILL YOU LEARN THIS?!?!

ITS BEEN MONTHS OF AUTHORITARIANISM AND YOU WANT COMMON GROUND?!?

STEP ASIDE AND LET PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND WHATS HAPPENING LEAD THE FIGHT BACK
Hakeem Jeffries: "Donald Trump promised that he would lower housing costs on day one. Here's a suggestion for the Trump administration: try to legislate, and maybe we can find common ground in order to get something done for the American people."

We're extremely aware of the limits and benefits of this platform. It's likely fewer people (we'll never know since Elon took the place private), but it's most certainly actual people. And the people here are academics, artists, people of real intellectual influence. It's a good place to be.

Tucker Carlson and those of his ilk are against war with Iran because they're aligned with the Putinist / Alexander Dugin ideology that wants to create ethno/religious states that dominate their spheres of influence.

That's it. And it would help if this kind of obvious context was made available.

Some thoughts about the military parade in my hometown of Washington DC today -- specifically, the route. Military parades in DC are quite rare. But when they happen, they have always begun, symbolically and geographically, at the Capitol and moved outward. 1/

They fucking threw your colleague to the ground and cuffed him. Step aside. You’ve shown yourself completely unwilling and unable to meet the moment. You are an abject fucking failure and you and the rest of your capitulating crew need to make room for people willing to do something.

I really, really need people to understand that as a function of supremacy, normal everyday people lie constantly about their intentions—to everyone, but perhaps to themselves most of all—and most often in service of protecting their ignorance and complacency, rather than any coherent ideology.
i really, really need people to understand that they *didn't* vote for this, no matter how much you insist they did. insisting "they voted for this" elides the information environment that led them to vote the way they did in the first place, the thing that actually needs fixing.

I have continued questions about the cognitive abilities of anyone who is fixated on the health of a man who will never be president again, rather than the one who is currently ripping this country apart at the seams and using the Constitution as his adult diaper.
Democrats are trying to move beyond Joe Biden, but continued questions about his cognitive abilities while president are emerging as both a major distraction and a litmus test for party leaders
Latest Revelations About Biden’s Acuity Put Democrats in a Tough Spot
The focus on the former president comes as the party needs to look forward rather than backward to exit the political wilderness.

Similar story to how I got ADHD dx. I was filling out a screening for my other kid and I was like, “But I do all those things.”

Anyway, GenX, a lot of us are getting dx because we’re getting care for our kids. Don’t be afraid. It’s actually really helpful.
Wife showed me a meme on IG that said, “My kid isn’t autistic, I was like that when I was a kid & I’m not autistic.” Which is why I didn’t pursue getting xyr screened for like two years after xe asked, “Dad, am I autistic?”

It also included Backstreet Boys singing “You are. You are. You aaaare.”

In the U.S. in 1825, *452* out of 1000 children born died before their 5th birthday.

By 1925, that number was 135 out of a 1000 children.

Today, in 2025, that number is *7*

And it is entirely due to advances in medicine, public health, and technology.
