Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

According to an internal email to Washington Post sports staff, the paper isn't sending any reporters to cover the winter Olympics next month. The decision comes as major layoffs are expected in the coming weeks.

Have you ever seen multiple choice questions where every option is wrong? Well there are some right here:

www.transum.org/Intro/?ID=1154

Students have to estimate the answers to the questions and choose the option that is closest to the correct answer.

Three weeks ago, my husband and I were hanging out with monarchs in the highlands of central Mexico. We stayed two nights with a small family run business near Macheros.

What a magical place 🦋🇲🇽⛰️

“What did you see?” asked Toad.

“I saw the sun coming out,” said Frog. “I saw the birds sitting and singing in the tree. I saw my mother and father working in their garden. I saw flowers in the garden.”

“You found it!” cried Toad.

Stayed at my aunt's house in Toronto. Next door they were blasting music, singing and dancing but honestly I felt happy that they could experience joy

I didn't fall asleep until 1 am and that was absolutely fine.

Always has been a brutalist masterpiece. Spent a couple of months here as a 16 year old volunteering for the summer camps.

There were lots of good memories here even after that summer.
As beautiful as ever.

It bugs me that the media says that Canadians are just boycotting the US when it comes to travel

Somehow these articles never mention that a lot of us Canadians are paying attention to what's happening and we are *also* scared and angry

Correction/Update: Seems like ION LRT in Waterloo uses electric switch heaters as well which work fine in winter/snow.

Wonder what the difference is.

This is Minneapolis:

Walk into my neighborhood ACE last night & see the signage on their door notifying fed agents that it’s private property and cannot be used for immigration enforcement. These signs are all over the city.

Walk in & the nearest shelf has goggles & whistles.
