NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Is the US president an addled, senile ignoramus or an effective, focussed Middle East peacemaker? He can’t be both.

It is being said that the structure of the Gaza peace agreement is Biden’s. What Trump added was irresistable pressure on Netanyahu. Perhaps they should give the Nobel to the both of them. At least, it would be fun to watch their reactions.

Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night comedians have certainly said things about me that I found offensive, even outrageous.
It never crossed my mind to call up the networks and say, "Hey, get rid of this guy." Because that's not how America works~Hillary Clinton

"Emily Thornberry says the Foreign Affairs committee was stopped from asking questions about Mandelson’s appointment by the UK Foreign Office". (BBC web page today)
How does that work? Parliamentary committees are supposed to be independent of government. Otherwise, what's the point of them?

Distinction might matter only in history's perspective. But it's sharp and clear.

-Trump probably has no idea what he's saying, when he claims .. essentially anything he claims.

-Vance knows perfectly well. And even more cynically than Marco, Graham, Johnson, John Roberts, etc, he is riding it.
it is always worth remembering that vance made a conscious decision to be a person of low character. he has eagerly contorted himself into evil for the sake of what amounts to a whiff of power.
This is an actual exchange from a VP who took an oath to defend the constitution and, as a citizen, is expected to abide by the law.

May we one day have accountability for the grotesque lawlessness of this regime.

Last night, Russia launched one of the largest drone and missile strikes on Ukraine, targeting government buildings and civilian homes alike.

Once again, the Kremlin is mocking diplomacy, trampling international law and killing indiscriminately.

Have the broadcasters replied?
This is not going to stop anyone. But more annoying for me as a tennis fan is that it is absolutely going to disrupt what should otherwise be a fantastic atmosphere for the most anticipated match in the sport this year. I’d make it so awful that he’d leave us to actually enjoy ourselves
What the actual fuck.

US Tennis Association: “We ask all broadcasters to refrain from showcasing any disruptions or reactions in response to the President’s attendance in any capacity, including ENG [Electronic News Gathering] coverage.”

I’ve spent a good chunk of my career relying on American science and engineering to keep me alive. Yesterday, RFK Jr. testified at the U.S. Senate Finance Committee. It was sad to see him try to destroy the life’s work of so many American scientists. He shouldn’t be in this job.

Agreed.
I sense that Trump is probing, probing, probing for just the right spark to start a violent confrontation with his own citizenry. Something to give him an excuse to crack down and further solidify his authoritarian control. L.A., D.C., “Alligator Alcatraz”, Chicago, Venezuela.

According to ChatGPT, "30–40% of contemporary English ancestry comes from Anglo-Saxon migrants who arrived between the 5th–7th centuries CE". As the Anglo-Saxons arrived, uninvited, on small boats, it ill-behoves their descendants to complain about today's immigrants arriving by the same means.
