After many fruitless years attempting to trick herself into becoming a morning person, Elissa Sanci had all but given up until she discovered Unbed, a device that wails incessantly until you physically carry your phone to the block to turn it off.
I Want to Be a Morning Person. This Un-Snoozable Alarm Is Turning Me Into One.
This un-snoozable alarm app requires you to get out of bed to turn it off.

Thank you, President Obama, for so clearly stating the danger of the repeal.
Today, the Trump administration repealed the endangerment finding: the ruling that served as the basis for limits on tailpipe emissions and power plant rules. Without it, we’ll be less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change—all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.

House passes SAVE America Act, sending Trump-backed election bill to the Senate
The legislation would overhaul federal election laws in all 50 states by imposing new voter ID and proof-of-citizenship requirements. But it faces a daunting path in the Senate.

Hmm. Wonder why?
Meanwhile, many libraries that used to offer passport services were recently told by the Federal government they can’t do that anymore. Probably a coincidence!

The SAVE act — another GOP effort to convert election lies into policy — would disenfranchise millions of voters. Congress is likely to vote on it this week. Sherrilyn’s article explains the urgency.

1. I think most liberals are probably familiar with one part of what has become known as Wilhoit’s Law – that the true goals of the right are inequality, injustice, repression and control. This is how composer Frank Wilhoit put it in 2018:
