For the #BirdOfTheDay theme of #Least, here is a bird I’ve only seen once, the Orange-crowned Warbler (Leiothlypis celata) above Yaquina head along the Oregon coast. The Pacific birds are the brightest in coloration.

Went to Union Creek in the Rogue River NF to close up family cabin for winter - and of course a Steller's Jay stopped by to supervise...

...the peanuts I brought. They came to supervise Peanut Distribution not "Proper Cabin Closing Procedure"
