This is mind-blowing and we can’t ever forget what ACTUALLY happened, not what the R’s want us to think (and forget).
The video evidence is what I always come back to when I think of Jan. 6. We @propublica.org created this interactive piece of videos that Parler users recorded and uploaded from their own POV that day, and it remains as disturbing today as it was then.

What Parler Saw During the Attack on the Capitol
ProPublica sifted through thousands of videos taken by Parler users to create an immersive, first-person view of the Capitol riot as experienced by those who were there.

The “BadAss Grandmas” pushed for ethics reform six years ago. But this is what has happened since….

Voters Created an Ethics Commission in North Dakota. Then the Legislature Limited Its Power.
Led by a bipartisan group of women, North Dakotans voted to create an ethics oversight body six years ago. Since then, the group has received 81 complaints and has not substantiated a single one.

We recently ran the piece concerning coyotes & some of the responses were unbelievable. The psychopathic hatred of wildlife is so ingrained in some of these messages I wonder if the people making them realize what they sound like.

"...we’re under a well-funded, well-coordinated information assault."

This is a brutal look at the GOP's very successful years-long effort to destroy fact-based media. Thank goodness @karlbode.com also includes some solid ideas about how to fix things.

Them: “You can’t tie everything to abortion. Not everything is about abortion.”

Me: “Oh Jimmy Carter died today? Did you know the Republican party only became anti-abortion to win the 1980 election against pro-abortion candidate, Jimmy Carter?” 🫠

Because RIGHT, 33 countries have done it successfully so we couldn't POSSIBLY pull it off. Where's the guillotine?
And so unnecessary. This probably costs us more than it ever saves.
The Lancet reports that every year at least 68,000 people die preventable deaths due to a lack of healthcare—1 every 7.7 min

Meaning, since the UnitedHealth CEO's death on 12/4, at least 4862 people have died preventable deaths due to the for profit health exploitation system

Outrageous & barbaric

Repeated examples of republicans committing treason and getting away with it.
Remember the right-wing plot to sabotage Jimmy Carter’s re-election by urging Iran to hold American hostages longer? You don’t? It’s a shocking example of the American right’s treachery that more people should know about. (Gift link to 2023 NYT story.)

Correct. Marc Tarpenning & Martin Eberhard founded & named Tesla Motors (now Tesla Inc.) in 2003.

Elon Musk founded & named Tesla is the same sense that Donald Trump founded his business on a "$1,000,000 loan from my father." It wasn't a loan. And it wasn't $1,000,000. It was $413,000,000.

I’d recommend everyone regardless of medical risk bring a mask on your airplane journey, a disinfectant wipe to clean the seat you’re in and hand sanitizer.

It’s going to be on you alone to protect your health.

Warning signs are everywhere.
