I can say anything backwards. This made me semi-famous in junior high but it quickly got annoying when randos kept asking how to say “Fuck your mother” to their friends.

Always walk away from bullshit.
This is at least the fourth story I've seen of an author having to exchange multiple emails (over 20) with this publisher to get the contract language to not be rights grabby and it's one of three where the writer walked away.

I know the 1987 THE RUNNING MAN is mid-shelf Arnold but it's one of the first movies to make me politically angry as a kid and probably informed my views quite a bit. I wanted revenge on that stupid game show host.

Letterboxd needs a way to let you filter reviews by middling star ratings. I’m less interested in why people think a highly acclaimed film is worth half-a-star (as they’re probably being unreasonable on some level) than those who think it’s worth two-stars.

It’s funny how when you’re 16, you get sick of hearing Montell Jordan’s “This is How We Do It” a thousand times a week and then you grow up and randomly push play on the music video and are like, “Jesus, they just can’t make em like this anymore.”

It’s crazy that the USA is a Socialist country now. This is exactly like in THE HOT CHICK (2003) when a misogynist played by Rob Schneider wakes up and he’s Rachel McAdams.

People wonder why kitchen parties (parties where everyone congregates in the kitchen) are a Canadian phenomenon. It’s because Americans have an alcohol contribution system at house parties while Canadians bring what they drink and therefore must guard it (this is explained briefly in DETENTION).

I really liked M3GAN 2.0’s embrace of kid-trash sequel tradition, like SHORT CIRCUIT 2 and LAWNMOWER MAN 2: BEYOND CYBERSPACE. You’d have to be a particular type of weird to embrace this truth but it’s better than the first one.

Anyone been playing this SILKSONG game? It’s like a test of endurance as this extremely calming, meditative music plays while you die 1000 times in an hour until you can’t take it anymore and break the controller. But you always feel like it’s made you into a better, wiser person.

Sometimes someone is like, “I didn’t see THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE but I did see the 2003 remake and…” You threw that BUT in there really fast! Seeing the 2003 remake doesn’t even 1% count as seeing the original. Be for real. I’m Mark Palermo.

That part in Scream 2 where he says his favourite scary movie is Showgirls has never been funny. Just a cheap target gag that didn’t age well. It would have been better if he said Caspar, because then people would still be wondering what he really meant by that.
