Apparently I somehow went to bed without noticing poke-y metal objects in the pockets of my pajama pants and they were hiding under the covers all day. Yeesh!
At the stage of "where are my keys?" where I open the refrigerator door, just in case I set them down while getting a bottle of water last night.

I joked last week about the holiday comedies hitting theaters in early November so they'd be on VOD by Christmas, but it just occurred to me that this might be why THE CARPENTER'S SON came out today.
And, you know, I can't wait to hear about people renting it just on the title and Nicholas Cage.

That said, I think I could easily talk myself into not waiting 10+ years to reboot it if Johnson figures he's got a fun premise and he'd like to do variations on a theme. Why not? No law that says TV needs ironclad year-to-year continuity!
