If you missed #FilmRolls the first time around, it's simple - I've got a bunch of movies I've never seen, so I have selected two competitors to race from one end of this shelf to the next watching whatever disc they land in! This time around, welcome Dale Arden and the Atari Centipede!
Janelle Monae
Chow Yun-fat
Samuel L. Jackson
Chris Evans
Henry Cavill
Elle Fanning
Nicolas Cage
Natalie Portman

And another go-round for Garth Brooks, whose episode of Muppets Tonight was delightfully bonkers

Also, make Seth Rogen always getting his number cut a running gag.
Who do you want to guest host a potential revival of The Muppet Show?

I wonder if this messes with it being included in my partial season ticket package as it has been for the past few years.
MLB TV will remain $150 a season but look at this BS they’re trying to pull. You cannot “buy” MLB TV without buying ESPN Unlimited, but they give you a one month free trial, and then the hope is you forget to cancel since you don’t need ESPN to have MLB TV, only to initially purchase.

The Peak Tram was one of the really fun things in my trip to Hong Kong in '19 - it's at the perfect angle and speed for your brain to switch from thinking "up" is perpendicular to the floor or the horizon five times during the trip.

Are other baseball teams doing this, or is it just because John Williams conducted the Boston Pops?

(Of course I pounced as soon as I saw the email!)

What a fun little movie.
Dale rolls a 3 and pulls even with the Centipede on another German film, THE MAN WHO WAS SHERLOCK HOLMES!

Looking at the ol' timeline and seeing enough people complaining about spoilers for it to qualify as a sort of meta-spoiler.

Going rogue and saying Suncoast Motion Picture Company

I mean, I want to say Radio Shack, but I feel like you'd need to rebuild the whole fix-it-yourself culture around it first.
The only right answer is Toys R Us! That place meant everything to me. Looking at this photo alone makes me almost wanna cry 🥹 #retro #90svibe

As much as I stopped going to the Boston Sci-Fi Marathon because I grew to hate the parts of the audience that think they're the entertainment, I frequently think of the guy who yelled "Do something resembling anything!" during GALAXINA and chuckle.

Maybe AVCX starts a journalism concern.

It sort of makes sense to build out from the gewgaws people subscribe to to the rest of the paper, since the financial models already work that way.

Related: I've been moving unopened boxes into the building's basement, with the idea that it would make tidying/rearranging the apartment easier, and then I could bring them up one at a time, deciding what to do with all the stuff that I clearly haven't needed in the past few years.
Bunny thinks this, but...
