The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.

this guy is getting appropriately ratioed but I want to summarise the issue very succinctly, as somebody who owns a house and *has been a landlord*: everybody needs shelter. Housing is an essential service.
Like water, like electricity, like the roads. Therefore, it should not be an investment.

You might want to know that many landlords are like myself: work full-time, and rent out house bought as investment for income. Bank loan gotta get paid along with the rest of expenses. Corporations, sure, I agree. But COVID moratorium screwed me very badly, more debt. So might want to keep in mind.

One of the things I love about Zack Polanski is his absolute confidence in choosing a nuanced answer. He won't fly for ego, he will fly for necessity. Both nuanced answers to the same question that provide total clarity. Kunnesburg can't cope. It's the future folks.
