As so many grapple with state-led violence, I think it matters for people of faith to remember that Christianity is founded on Jesus being murdered by the powers of his day.
He respectfully didn’t comply with the laws and expectations of his day, and was put to death.

Re: Greenland, Venezuela, or really any territory...Hungering for more security, resources, power, or anything you feel you lack will never leave you satisfied. There will always be more to conquer, secure, or "liberate." Consumption consumes. Power corrupts. Acquisition will leave us more empty.

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.
