A woman we know (legally here with refugee status) was grabbed from her apartment's parking lot on Sun. An Atty filed a Habeas within an hour. Judge signed an order Mon a.m, but she'd already been shipped to El Paso, Tx. No contact with her atty, no food or water for 10+hours. She had to drink from

If he had talked to his attorney, his attorney would have told him his release was ordered.
And since ICE just wants to deport him no matter what, that's why they blocked him from talking to his attorney. They had to control the narrative while providing deniability to the judge.

The average public school in the U.S. has 500 students. ICE is currently detaining over 7 schools' worth of children, many of whom are being held in inhumane conditions.

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.
Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

I don't like to talk about stories before they are fully reported, but I am writing on ICE in a Minnesota town that isn't Minneapolis. However bad you think it is, it is worse. It is a campaign of pure terror whose only strategic goal is more terror. There is no strategy other than to break people.

This violated the Constitution which applies to all persons in the US, NOT all citizens.
Lawyers can't reach clients in ICE detention. I've heard it anecdotally, but scale of issue is horrifying.
