RIP to the great Sal Buscema. One of the most definitive Spider-Man artists for me thanks to his 90s run (that Harry as the Goblin arc with DeMatteis was so good). He also co-created ROM and penciled the last issue of the origin miniseries for my one of my favorite characters besides Spidey, Magik.

Outside of Born Again & X-Men 97, I have not caught up on any other Marvel shows since Secret Invasion. Secret Invasion left such a foul taste on my mouth that I HAD to take a break from these shows. That said I've heard good things about YFN Spider-man & Wonder Man so I'll watch those eventually.

Admittedly I'm feeling overwhelmed by all that has transpired today. But with the way the Minnesotans fought back and my sheer disdain of fascists, I refuse to succumb to nihilism. Masters of the Universe (2026) looks serviceable. Doesn't look as bad as it could've been but not as exciting as it should've been either. Cinematography/FX look perfectly fine but hardly remarkable considering Thor Ragnarok did a lot of this already a decade ago.
