BREAKING: We won!

Today the 3rd Circuit Court ordered the @post-gazette.com to restore our contract it illegally tore up 5 years ago. That’s our health care, PTO, right to a 40-hr. work week, short-term disability and so much more we’ve struck for 3+ years.

On Saturday, about 120 people in Bellingham gathered supplies for the Bellingham Food Bank by bicycle during a Cranksgiving event. Each rider had to shop in at least four grocery stores. Organizers with Walk and Roll Bellingham said $7,800 in goods were collected after tallying receipts.

Our maintenance crews are getting SR 11/Chuckanut Drive ready for winter by clearing leaves, rocks and tree debris from the road and ditches.

Expect alternating traffic between Blanchard Dr and the Skagit/Whatcom county line until about 3p today near Bow as this work wraps up.

UPDATE: A federal judge denied the motion AND the city council voted unanimously to withdraw the motion this afternoon

Turns out everyone thought the city attorney and the LAPD were completely outta pocket for this one
