You can't just separate a breastfeeding dyad cold turkey. Aside from STARVING AN INFANT it can cause a life-threatening infection in the lactating parent. It's not a tap that you can just turn on and off.
We need a law to ban this.

Operation PARRIS is one of the most heinous things this administration has done yet. Trump’s people ordered ICE to round up 5,600 legally present refugees, people who have done NOTHING wrong, with no warning, and jailed them in Texas to be interrogated about their status.

Devastated to learn that Univ of Texas at Austin is closing the American Studies dept. The years I spent there earning my PhD were formative, making me the teacher, thinker, and writer I am today. I've passed on what I learned at UT to thousands of students over the past 20 years. Just awful.
