1. Hi new friends! Linked in this first tweet is my “About me/what kind of content I post” thread. It has been temporarily unpinned to make room for Item 2.

2. Hi old friends! I promised you BlueSky primers and pro tips. I will drop those in the rest of THIS thread.

👋🏼 About me!

I'm an anthropologist who studies babies, and how their behavior and physiology is shaped by the unique way that we feed our babies as mammals: lactation.

🧪
I saw that.

Don’t confuse fact-checking with dismissal of victims. Verifying facts and due process are essential components of a free society.

I work for Canadians, I love Ryan Gosling, I have an encyclopedic knowledge of Vancouver from watching the X-Files, and one time I saw an X-ray of somebody who took a hockey puck to the face. What is my score on the test?

Don’t worry everybody. I already searched for Carl Sagan’s name. Our childhoods are preserved.
Academics vying for a spot in Epstein‘s world. There are so many. I feel the need to make a thread, so I don’t keep confusing them. 1/

That’s exactly how they come out. But that is not what happened here.

This discussion is becoming circular. By all means, continue spreading unverified rumors. That doesn’t harm anybody at all.
February 3, 2026 at 6:21 AM
That’s not how journalism works.

Had I no regard for ethics, I could have wormed my way into this circle, too. All you have to do is make up bullshit theories and name drop eugenics researchers. That’s how stupid these tools are.
February 3, 2026 at 6:09 AM
The thing that strikes me about reading these emails is that they’re all stunningly, comically stupid people who think they’re geniuses. That in and of itself is an argument for wealth taxes, or some kind of cap on personal wealth. No one that stupid should have as much power as they do.

All that article did was verify that Sascha exists, and that they were abused as a kid. Both of which Snopes did. It did not verify any of the events they described in the recordings.
February 3, 2026 at 5:56 AM
No, they don’t “hold up.” This article is not comprehensive, nor does it meet journalistic standards.

If there is anything to this, it will come out. But let the professionals do their job. That is how a civilized society works.

I want to qualify this a little. I don’t want non-scientists to think that they should not trust science as an institution. The vast majority of scientists—that I know, anyway—are trying really hard to do good work, and many succeed despite systemic barriers, implicit bias, and academic nepotism.

I look at boobs a lot more than the average person, yet it has taken me 5 years to realize that my profile pic looks like one.

I just manifest boobs, I guess.

Remember, folks: there is no such thing as a red state. Only blue and purple states held hostage by a gerrymandered, corporate-sponsored red minority. This is why I don’t tolerate “secession“ jokes. We can’t abandon our fellow Americans.

Alternative headline:

A whole bunch of blue and purple Texans found out this evening that they are, in fact, not alone.

Go Texas!
Apparently there was a city meeting in Hutchins, Texas, tonight. Hutchins is the location of DHS's newly announced 10,000-person concentration camp. What I've been told is that city officials were unanimously and adamantly opposed to it.

Unfortunately, I'm seeing this nowhere online.

Sascha Riley should never be discussed without sharing the Snopes article. Snopes was unable to get either Voldeng or Riley to produce corroborating documents.

Examining Sascha Riley's audio recordings alleging abuse by Epstein, Trump
No credible evidence supported the allegations regarding Epstein, the president and other prominent men.

Palantir is creating a digital panopticon and Peter Thiel is a fake nerd who can’t spell “Palantír.”
AOC on ICE: It’s our task to figure out how to claw back what has essentially supercharged this agency into becoming a relentless domestic paramilitary that is also a blank check to Palantir to create facial-recognition scans on U.S. citizens.

Please don’t use “lactation” as a hashtag for adult content. This isn’t lactation.
February 3, 2026 at 12:37 AM
Try this:

Go to the Bluesky search bar and type “lactation.” Or click on this hashtag: #lactation

…and then try to tell me breastfeeding is fully normalized and we don’t need to be doing public education on this topic anymore.
February 3, 2026 at 12:36 AM
…That’s a breast cancer researcher, by the way. Laughing about the idea of breasts being used for their actual purpose.

Here’s the lactation science article Epstein sent to her and one other woman around the same time:

The wonder of breasts
Florence Williams: Our culture is obsessed with breasts, yet we know remarkably little about them. But their secrets are starting to be unravelled, and nothing is more astonishing than breast milk

“Stop talking about ‘normalizing breastfeeding!’ It’s already normalized!”

I am really enjoying having the Eastern Bluebirds here for the winter. They seem to be very social and full of personality. It's a shame they are not here year-round.
