ICE has posted a video of Santa Claus arresting immigrants. Your government is hijacking a symbol of charity to spread fear and hate. it’s up to all of us to defeat these twisted fascists.

I knew it could be bad but I'd no idea it was quite this heinous out there for kiddos. Please check in with yours and make sure they've not fallen into this spiral of hate — even "just out of curiosity," etc. I'm a mentally healthy, well-balanced adult and it was tough to take.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
