You know that point in history books or a documentary (or sci-fi and dystopian fiction) where they say "here is where things took an inevitable turn"? That's what 2025 feels like. I want to be wrong. But governments are rolling back human and civil rights and openly attacking their residents.

$200 is not a huge rebate, if a person buys 4 appliances, is this for each appliance or in total? Energy efficient appliances could cost thousands.

I read this the other day, and started wondering how peanuts spread from their area of origin. If lack of exposure to peanuts in childhood leads to peanut allergies, wouldn't peanut-naive populations have a decent number of folks who just dropped dead upon eating this new tasty snack?

no surprise and glad someone else noticed Carney's craven capitulation to the fossil fuel industry.
At COP30 Canada just got awarded the fossil of the day — first time since 2014 (the harper years). Clear sign of how Carney’s pro fossil fuel agenda and backsliding on climate policy is being noticed internationally.
