aaliamauro "How will you make buses free?" Well, how do we make libraries free? Public services aren't some radical concept. People already pay taxes, the money should go toward things that actually help them. Instead, we're told it's unrealistic to fund transit or healthcare, while subsidies and tax breaks flow freely to billionaires. We're not asking for a handout. We're just asking not to pay twice for what we've already funded.

Hey, just so you know you probably already do, lol). The ABGov is lowballing contract offers to orgs that help the homeless and people with substance use. I'm at Our contract deadline is October 1st. If the agency doesn't accept what's being offered (which also means all negotiations are off now), a lot of jobs will be at risk. Which will result in providing support/services to fewer clients. @thebreakdownab

I'm different: I woke up at 2:00 a.m. lamenting over the 200 year old trees Trump is cutting down for his pos ballroom. Why isn't anyone stopping him? Isn't there a historical society in DC? A Southern Magnolia planted by President Andrew Jackson in 1829 was among the trees removed from the grounds.
