Ok I poked around & the first issue happens bc currently it copies the entire doc (I write in one doc w/headings for chapters). There’s a feature suggestion to export only a selection of text. The export works if you use the whole doc or a draft.
I haven’t had luck with the AO3 export personally. It either includes a lot of extra formatting (too many characters to post!) and when I logged it through Ellipsus, it said I didn’t have any works 🤷♀️ I should go look up those issues on the server actually.
