My only actual in-game warrior is Kuippana, my solasmancer (and later Kremmancer 💖)

After trespasser, Vigi becomes a warrior who wields a one-handed axe and claws on his prosthetic

YES!!! Natalie is a sword and shield warrior!! In my world, she uses a sword that she crafted herself called, "Owl's Wing." Nat's a very skilled swordswoman but bashes people when they just need some sense knocked into them. 🦉

I don't have pictures but my HoF is a warrior. She dual wields with a sword in one hand, an axe in the other and is a reaver.

The one and only warrior I've ever tried to play was a two-handed Inquisitor Cadash. I was terrible at being a warrior and kept switching to play as whatever mage I had in my party 😆 I couldn't even complete the playthru bc I kept dying in the Fade lol. Sadly this is my only pic of her.

The only warrior OC I have is Maggie Rainier, who is in the original (read canon) run a Warden warrior.
She prefers swords and shield. With her armor together it creates a knight like lady with grace aura.🥺

The rest of my OCs are mostly mages or rogues.

my first ever character was a sword and shield warrior, which was surprising for me considering how i prefer to play games... ive had a few more over the course of the years.

🎭 idr what weapon i was using for Antares’ reaper build; in-game i went sword and shield but i like to imagine they heft around a big gold scythe

🌗 Hida was two-handed and was using one of the elvhen axes by the end

His favorite weapons - a shield and a sword ⚔️

Aravel Lavellan, my canon Inquisitor! He has always been a two-handed warrior, although I'm trying a sword-and-board build on him to play with a different combat style on the current playthrough. I think he prefers the two-handed weapons, though. Just more fun to swing and hit hard.

I love Warriors 😍

Aedan: Known as the "Shield of Ferelden" because of his massive shield that he also uses as a weapon w/ Cousland sword or an axe

Cassius: The "Sword of Ferelden" known for Starfang. Uses a shield but also duel wields sword & dagger

Fynn: Shield and Axe, round shield w/ spikes

At the moment, I only have one warrior - Havran, ready to play whack-a-Solas with her big hammer. 😌

All my canon protags are Warriors, so here's a little 🧵 to show them off!

Starting with Bani Ingellvar! She exclusively uses sword and shield (in my HC she uses two-handed swords more, but that's not an option in DAV). Her spec is Reaper, so she backs up her weapons attacks with Necromancy spells

Ilia is a greatsword girlie! Her parents didn't want her training as a child, so she initially learned by stealing her older brother's sword that was too big for her. By the time she got some actual training, she was comfortable using both hands and didn't want to start over learning with a shield.

Yuni Lavellan (Inky's older brother): twohanded weapons, but is also trained with a bow & stealth.
Varen "Brass" Laidir (Rook): Two-handed axes mostly, likes throwing weapons too.
Florian Hawke (Champion): Sword and shield (+ weak & suppressed magics)
Rae Mahariel (HoF): Mostly sword + shield

Kalais = Cursive, mostly legible but messy. Partly because he doesn't write often, partly because when he does it tends to be fast.

Ves = print, carefully written, neat but nothing pretty. He doesn't have a regular need to write before & after DAI so makes sure it's legible when he does.

Kim cannot write very well at all. He can read and all, but he just has not a lot of training in terms of writing.

Felis and Thel both can write but do not have a orderly handwriting. They cannot be assed to care about it.

Only André. He writes very well and pretty. Good first impression!

This feels extra relevant given my most recent fic update 😅

💙 Gareth’s is tidy & well practiced. His mother and grandmother helped him work on it as a child.

💛 Vax’s is more messy & rushed. He doesn’t write a ton, & is more worried about practicality over aesthetics.

Jada Brosca's handwriting is chicken scratch because she didn't learn to write until she was in her 20s

Tanis: barely readable. He writes fast and he writes a lot.
Ketill: none. He can't write.
Vaskar: quite clean but with lots of acronyms and contractions.
Ves: writes in Avvar runes because it's none of your business what he writes down.

Alacrán(Witch): Tidy, almost artsy when in a good mood
Sive(Templar): Its... readable enough, hard to write with gloves
Adahris(Apostate): Stable, readable but often hasty because she has to write a lot at times
