In absolute earnest, I think terror of “elitism” has put a powerful vocabulary for describing what’s going on here out of play. These people are vulgar, thuggish, unsophisticated, crass, unschooled, unreflective. They are low in a sense that has nothing to do with income, & it’s fine to say so.

It's an open question how they will handle fall/winter deliveries with 10-145% tariffs.
