Just checking, it's now ok to flee your homeland, because you're afraid for your safety, and seek refuge in another Country?

Glad we've cleared that up. Let's hear no more about immigration and refugees then.

We should be very clear, that when headlines claim he ruled out using force to take Greenland, he then immediately swaggered about the power of his armed forces and the new battleships that he's building. No one leaving the room can think he really ruled out force.

I'm sorry, but this is a Chamberlain vs Churchill moment, and I'm with Churchill.

No, we don't want a trade war with the US, but we're not the one's threatening it, it's our enemy Donald Trump. We should be prepared to defend ourselves, and our values, against a fascist tyrant.

now, it might seem odd that political commentators who advocated for the uk to leave the eu because of their belief in “the nation state” to be supportive of america’s annexation of venezuela, but what you have to remember is that those people didn’t actually think that, they were lying for money

The PM is sacrificing UK growth to appease the US administration.

A UK EU Customs Union is the best path forward to get Britain growing again.

Is this the problem with modern football punditry/journalism. He could be amazing so we put him 5th. But also he cant be judged right now ( even though we judged him 4 months ago) football is almost becoming a caricature of itself.

“Turn the next election into a choice between Labour and Reform and rely on everyone voting Labour to block Reform” is a bad tactic to start with.

But it’s a *terrible* tactic when you do absolutely nothing to oppose Reform while in government.

If we don’t show that we outnumber them, our country is going to be won by them.

& all they want power for is to continue enriching the rich & blaming the poor while the world burns.

Your regular reminder that over a lifetime, people born in 1956 will each receive on average £291,000 more from the welfare state than they paid in, compared to £132,000 for people born in 1996 (h/t Resolution Foundation)

Just something to consider next time you hear “I’ve paid in all my life…”
