#Florence+themachine named the new tour EVERYBODY SCREAMS because that is how I felt now for more than an hour trying to get tickets on lousy #eventim and failing miserably. Until they fix these nightmarish websites that privileges scammers, concert going is becoming an anxiety inducing experience.

Brazil's GDP is one eighth of the US's.

Eat every politician that claims it's impossible to have free public healthcare.
“At a time when health care remains one of the most divisive issues in Washington, my unexpected admission to a Brazilian public hospital served as an education of sorts on a fundamentally different system.”
I got an ambulance ride, CT scan and ER care in Brazil. My bill: $0.
As Washington battles over access to health care, a Post journalist’s experience at a public hospital in Brazil shone light on a fundamentally different system.

Only public reaction from major European leader I could find (so far) is from Starmer.

Not only suggest little influence, but also little warning despite conducting talks with Iran on Friday.

Also no pre-coordinated response despite knowing for days US strikes could happen
Nothing so far from Merz, Macron or Von der Leyen on Trump’s decision to enter the conflct with Iran. Kallas, meanwhile, is calling for a return to the negotiating table. Europe will be affected by this war in ways we can’t fully understand today but it is not in a position to influence outcomes
Iran must not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, as it would be a threat to international security.

I urge all sides to step back, return to the negotiating table and prevent further escalation.

EU Foreign Ministers will discuss the situation tomorrow.

Sean Hannity, and many others, are posting this video claiming it is the explosion at Fordow after the US military bombed it.

Its not.

This is from Syria in December 2024.

Remember when we agreed that the environment catastrophe was the biggest threat for humanity? Yes, with B2 aircraft that refill midair to bomb and risk radiation, starving people while bombing them and destroying infrastructure everywhere while threatening to increase oil prices we will arrive there
We don't talk enough about how an influential part of the American Right wants to hasten the end of the world through war and environmental destruction.

I see many folks making many uncaveated claims about what happens next.

I also see the best and most seasoned experts admitting that they don’t know what’s coming—and advising us not to buy what such fully confident pundits are selling.

Trust the latter view. We’re in largely uncharted territory.

"Once you guys plot against my family and that was tough. I have big guns and I am much more powerful than you so you will see it one day!"
Trump doesn‘t feel the need to try to justify the attacks on Iran by anything resembling a legal or normative argument.

It’s all about the exercise of unrestrained executive power by an unrestrained superpower.

Military strikes make people's brains fall out of their heads. Why would anyone believe anything Trump says?

We have no idea at this point if Iran's nuclear facilities remain intact or if they were "totally obliterated."
On Hannity tonight, Fox News’ National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin reports that it’s not clear whether the U.S. was able to destroy Iran’s nuclear site at Isfahan—despite Trump’s claim that all three sites have been “completely and totally obliterated.”
President Trump: “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.”

"war of choice" is a great term. I highly recommend to read @sethabramson.bsky.social take on how this war is personal to Trump and has been long in the making (as he himself just announced). He betrails the MAGA movement for basically revenge thirst and delusion of what it means to be powerful.

7/ My assessment as his biographer is that at this point only one thing can stop a war with Iran that will define the next two decades of US foreign policy and cause countless deaths around the world: if the MAGA base so loudly yells about this that Trump worries his entire movement could collapse.

We can say that the goal of regime change from Israel is obvious by now..
If you‘re planning a coup, taking out/taking over the national radio/TV stations is usually pretty high up on the list of objectives to secure. This looks more and more like a campaign of deliberate regime change/ collapse by Israel, not just an air war to degrade Iran‘s military/nuclear programme.
Israel just hit Iranian state broadcaster (IRIB) while they were broadcasting live on air. #Iran #Israel
