Lack of third spaces has created social media as a logical solution for the innate desire to communicate with others. We all show our ass way more than we would in real life though which is why it quite often ends up as such a net negative for a lot of folks. Be cool on here and it ain’t bad at all.
weird take but i think "getting off social media" is a bad thing if you don't have, like, irl places to go. at least you're sort of socializing and interacting here, instead of watching hours of youtube videos of unfunny dudes picking apart advertisements
