I am afraid ICE isn’t going to relent until they are met with returning fire that keeps them from walking away. The only thing that will stop this terrorism is evoking even greater fear of reprisal and fear for safety on their part. This is what ensues when a government violates the social contract.

My first thought in jest upon seeing the poster was, “an odd casting choice for Amy Poehler…” but now I really want to see that entirely non-existent Predator film.
Predator Badlands was really fun!
Action was great, leads were great, everything was great.
Obviously it sucks a little that it’s not a visceral R rated blood fest, but that’s not the story they wanted to tell and I’m ok with that.

My grandfather was one of the longest-running mail carriers in American history. The dismantling of the American postal service and destruction of its service reputation is one of the most insidious consequences of the Trump presidencies. This is a huge threat to mail-in voting (and so much more).
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.
