Ultimately at some point you have to decide who want to allow to define your culture. This one guy is expending all your trust and safety resources. Will that work get more difficult if you ban him? Yes, for a while. But if you let him push the boundaries it gets worse, bit by bit, *forever.*

In addition to ruthlessly stripping the power of newly elected Democrats, NC’s GOP legislature constrained the ability of cities to rezone. Law largely disallows cities from changing the permitted uses of land—making it much more difficult, eg, for cities to ban auto-oriented uses in transit areas.

Between this, the judge blocking the Onion buying InfoWars in favor of a richer/more right-wing bidder, and Sinema/Manchin showing up just to fuck up the NLRB, it's been a big week for undisputed victors coming over to the loser's remaining territory just to smash it up
