Not trying to call out this dude in particular but I'm deeply wary of the 'Trump did it all' framing, as the Trump era is the product of the last 40 years of rightwing politics- I don't think we're going to get out of this if we let W, Reagan, Ailes, et al off the hook.
Trump activated all of this insane ideologues to start voting and participating in politics and now the only thing that can win you a primary for basically any GOP office is culture war insanity instead of big business figureheads who throw out that stuff as slop for the morons.

The other thing that is sending me is that by focussing on the outrageous murder of the 'hors de combat' you are de facto excusing the fact that the strikes themselves are illegal and ratcheting the application of the law to the point that murders are excusable if you declare 'but they had drugs.'

Speaking as the president of an NGO and as a trans woman: when orgs decide to abandon a group, to sacrifice them, it is not that group’s job to “understand how hard it would have been to fight.”
If trans people hope to survive, it is our job to make that abandonment costly as hell.

Yeah, the American people likely should have been paying more attention to getting a Real ID since 2005 - AND this is still a lovely stinking albatross of consumer rage we can hang around MAGA’s neck, so I’m ALL in on blaming this squarely on Trump.
