2025 was a year of waiting for me. waiting to feel better, for treatment, for specialist appointments, for surgery, and for recovery. I'm happy to say I'm finally feeling better. may 2026 be a year where I begin again.

Anyone in the Chicago area want an air fryer, or know someone who does? A good model, I’m told, never even taken out of the box. (I won it.) It’s free for whomever wants to take it off my hands, you just need to come to Noble Square to pick it up. DM me.

This HAS to be a good deal for someone!

"This promise of an AI future, is really just a collective anxiety that wealthy people have about how well they're gonna be able to control us in the future."

- @tressiemcphd.bsky.social with an absolute mic drop moment about AI bullshit.

Incredible words.
Listen to all of it!

'There's velodrome ring here.' He pointed.
`A what?' Case leaned forward.
`They race bicycles,' Molly said. `Low grav, high-traction tires, get up over a hundred kilos an hour.'
`This end doesn't concern us,' Armitage said with his usual utter seriousness.
`Shit,' Molly said, `I'm an avid cyclist.'
Nobody uses the word “avid” anymore except when they’re lying about how much they bike

Saturday, from 1-5 pm at Solar Intentions in Edgewater, we are gathering to raise funds to free Luis, one of our immigrant neighbors who was detained by ICE. His stepdaughter is a dedicated volunteer. Community members are working to raise$12,000 to cover his legal bills and bond. bit.ly/4iXtrjj

there truly has never been a better time to write a little HTML page. <template> tag, hidden attribute, native CSS nesting, the :has() selector, and I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface of all the new stuff that's landed in-browser in the last five years

The ice shelf has finally melted in Rogers Park and the colors are magnificent. (Now if we can only say the same about the other forms of ice infecting our neighborhood.)
