Three books are missing from my Storygraph record, but I read a LOT in 2025. I might be the only person who wants to read fewer books in 2026!

Jan 1- The Holy Name of Jesus.

Jesus’ name “Yeshua” means “Yahweh saves”.

If whatever you’re saying or doing, to yourself or others, isn’t leading away from suffering, pain, condemnation, isolation, fear, hate or poverty, it’s not “in His name” no matter how often you attach the name Jesus to

Check on your neighbours folks, you never know who is rationing heating. A lot of people won't ask for help and claim they like it this way and that it saves a lot of money.
I love snow but being cold is awful, so check on your neighbours

For the last couple of years, we (my siblings, aunt and I) have drawn a name from a bowl and just got a present for that person. Due to someone losing their piece of paper this year and “working out” whom they’d got, I ended up with two (different) presents 😀.

Been debating the rate for selling back to Dad the thrupenny bits from the Christmas puddings. Investigation has found that my aunt’s 1920 coin could, in that year, have bought six Cadbury’s flakes. All agreed this would be an excellent exchange.
