I build shows. Let's talk about games, pets, live entertainment, Star Wars, Sci-Fi, TTRPG, DCC, XCC #ForTheHorde
We heard all of this during the 2020 election. Supreme Court reform, DC and PR statehood, etc, increasing the federal minimum wage....

None of it happened.

And a lot of people who got up to vote for Biden stayed home 4 years later when Harris asked for their vote.

We should ban using AI to generate *any* impersonation of a person without their permission, and make AI companies liable for providing the creations
Both parties should support this. Using AI to generate a video of a candidate saying something he didn’t say should be illegal. Especially since many voters think it is real. I will condemn any candidate from either party who does this.

I'd love to see a chart showing how many homes in my city are owned by illegal immigrants vs those owned by Real Estate Trusts.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

And yet they still don’t get it. And let’s be real “Christians” actually ignore most of their book too. Because there is no hypocrisy quite like Christian hypocrisy.

Now we're up to 30 million? So 8% of the US population is illegal immigrants?

You can disagree and argue as much as you like but the point of evaluating something scientifically is that not every statement should be given equal credence because evidence matters
JD Vance: "Science as practiced in its best form is that if you disagree with it, then you ought to criticize it and you ought to argue against it."

Megyn Kelly has a 14 year old daughter.

I wonder if she'd be ok leaving her daughter alone with Epstein, or one of his good buddies?
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

I know it's a huge leap away from the point, but the spelling and grammatical errors in these emails would make a 4th grader blush.
The Kremlin disguised a nearly $100 mn payment to Trump in the form of a brokered real estate deal... and both Jeffrey Epstein and William Pulte were involved in the deal. That's very interesting.

Ghislaine Maxwell lied about Trump never going to Epstein's house (directly contradicted by her email correspondence with Epstein), and she was rewarded for that lie with a transfer to a cushier prison. The coverup is happening in plain sight.

She was the 218th signature, which means the petition is now frozen and no member can remove their name.

It's worth repeating - again - that if a Democrat was exposed in this fashion all other work in Congress would screech to a halt as multiple committees and investigations were launched.

And of course Fox News would be the 24/7 Epstein Channel.
I’m gifting this article so you can read it without a subscription.

Maybe there could be some sort of Marketplace.

And the money will help defray or "subsidize" the cost of the insurance (which will still be For Profit).

It will be better because we'll call it TrumpGoldCare.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Seriously, this dude right here for President in 2028.
Why is Trump going after America's air traffic controllers, today of all days?

It's one more way to distract from his decision to increase your health insurance premiums."

In 2006 a high school English teacher asked students to write to a famous author & ask for advice.

KURT VONNEGUT - born 103yrs ago today - was the only one to respond.

His reply was a doozy.

I've been banging this drum for a while now. Bond is a product of the Cold War, let him die with it.

Put him in the vault and when you write your 21st century spy movie just give the protagonist a different name.
And hey... maybe we don't actually need a new Bond film? It's kind of a relic of previous era that brings a lot of baggage with it (how much of the imperialism and misogyny can you remove before it stops being a Bond movie?), we don't actually need to keep making them.

Been thinking a bit about health insurance.

I think the conservatives have one thing right....the Federal government can get too big and slow to serve as a single payer.

What if instead we managed single payer at the state level?

Make it more accountable to the public it serves.
