Much like Starmer, our departure has been delayed. Hopefully not until May

Tim Allan, who just quit as Starmer's director of comms, was on the board of the trans-eliminationist hate group "Sex Matters", whose director of advocacy Helen Joyce urged transphobes to get through to "decision makers" so that the "numbers" of trans people could be "reduced." That's what they did.
One of the wickedest things Wes Streeting has ever done is push politically convenient falsehoods about suicide rates amongst young trans people. We have new data from the National Child Mortality Database that exposes the truth he tried to cover up.

A freedom of information request by Good Law Project has found that deaths by suicide of trans young people under 18 surged following the withdrawal of gender-affirming healthcare

Look at me, out at a Saturday night gig like the young people 😱 Gig wasn't on the train to be clear. Will tell all later. Unless I forget obviously

This might sound like hyperbole.

It is not.

They took a decision they were warned would cause trans kids to die. Trans kids died. They covered that up and attacked those trying to expose their cover up.

They deserve to go to prison and nobody will ever be held accountable.

It is the UK way.
Wes Streeting and Louis Appleby should go to prison over this. It's a massive scandal and they covered it up. They knew what they were doing restricting access to care and they did it anyways because of politics.

Defining women as "Biologicaly female at birth" is inheritantly misogynistic.

Yet, this is the proposed update to the Scottish hate crime act that's meant to strengthen prosecution against crimes involving misogyny.

Ohhhh the irony!

Professor Louis Appleby covered up a policy which killed trans children so that the British government could kill some more through neglect and lack of care.

For anyone else in their fifties with (begrudgingly) a profile on LinkedIn

As soon as I hit 56, all my job messages stopped dead. Literally overnight, from 2-3 a month to nothing, suggesting a 55yr upper limit

Last month I took the year off my university degree, and the job messages started again

Now here's a test for the Labour government as the US government announces even more money to corrupt our society; will they protect inclusivity and people who choose to "live and let live", or will they allow bigots to force their views on everyone?

This is scary as hell, I can imagine how frightened the teacher at the centre of this must feel

I know exactly which school this is, it's not so far from where my mom lives. And yeah, there's fertile ground for cunts like Robinson around there

Wonder what it’s like right now to be on one of those fancy corporate “anti-sex trafficking” boards, or foundations, or whatever else they call their fake useless organizations, that siphon money from real work and propagate harmful myths about both sex trafficking and sex work. Collaborationists

I've not said much about the impact of FWS v SM on me really.

I came out late. In my early forties. Like many late transitioners, I had a history of anxiety and depression. I wonder if there's a link? /s

Anyway...

All trans people realise that the goal of 'gender critical' activists is to eradicate us from society. It really is death by a thousand cuts, and the evidence is presented here

Will any politician or mainstream journalist ever take notice?
This is a must-read: Appeasing Sex Matters was never about “clarity”. It was about power. What followed the Supreme Court ruling wasn’t calm or resolution, but escalating demands, wider exclusions, and institutions choosing fear over inclusion.

What would it take to appease campaigners Sex Matters?
In April 2025, Sex Matters – the UK’s most prominent gender-critical campaign group – declared a win, but the fight seems far from over

What if Mandelson was appointed US ambassador *because* he was an Epstein sicko so that he could connect with Trump?

I mean obviously the victims don't appear to matter in any of this, so why not?

This is a really good point from Cal Horton - normally even major research into methodologies which surfaces new findings takes rounds of consultation, integration and discussion to be absorbed into policy.
Amidst discussion of the political nature of the Sullivan Review, it is important to note the ways in which it was immediately embedded into institutional practice, including across the NHS, used to remove trans children's rights.

📣 Today @felicitycallard.bsky.social and I have published the first peer-reviewed response to the 'Sullivan Review' of research and data on sex and gender.

The Review could threaten trans rights and inclusion, erode academic freedom, and undermine research quality.

Want to boost this a little as I've seen folk talking about how Anas Sarwar wants to remove trans women from women's prisons - because in his actual column he makes clear it isn't just prisons. It's everywhere.
Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has made clear in the Daily Record that he will roll back trans rights if elected First Minister - the spineless little coward he is.

At my mom's and the most terrifying words were uttered ... "while you're here, I've just got a few little jobs"

Other than a bit of IT & officialdom, it turned out to be emptying the back bedroom of stuff & furniture & curtains because she's getting it decorated. Knackered now

An extra lane appears on the motorway and you slid into it like a like a Hollywood star, but it was only a slip road and you had to skulk back out almost straight away

Still, I saw you and respect you oh motorway lane pedant 🫡

This seems like a gloriously poetic way to annoy the BBC whenever you get a free 10 minutes. Pick a random article and complain 😁

I understand the value of being in a room with Labour politicians.

There is a trade off happening.

It is valuable for Labour politicians, as a token to show they are doing *something* to distract from all the harm.

It could also be valuable for trans people. Talking truth to power.

Absolutely certain that things will go against us again soon with something or other, but the transphobes aren't getting it all their own way

Take some small joy in their setbacks 💜
