There used to be a blogger who worked in the ad industry and wrote under a pseudonym and his no punches pulled post-Superbowl writeups were fantastic. He got laid off, though, like so many in that industry, propelled no doubt by the rise of streaming (or at least DVRs).
I hope someone will write up the ads that were clearly made using ai and those that used real actors. Something tells me that people can sense the difference. But maybe not.

If the NHL were as big as the NFL, there would be similar conversations and the discourse around Heated Rivalry would be very different.
It's not just that I don't like football. I think football is very literally a very bad thing that exploits the bodies of (mostly) Black men & creates lasting damage across generations to line wealthy pockets. I've even talked folks into boycotting it!

I do not get very starstruck by most kinds of celebrities but that fact that the puppy trainer on the Puppy Bowl has shopped at my store and owns a sticker with my an illustration of my dog on it is really a point of pride.

My grandfather was almost 20 when he met my grandmother, who was 12. Older men got with younger women because this was not considered pedophilia! He seems to have never known about the abortion she crossed international borders to get as a teen!

The US men's singles figure skaters are ALL children of Soviet skaters. I can't help thinking of the generations of talent (athletic, artistic, academic) that the US stands to lose the longer this current regime and its policies continue.

I had honestly forgotten that Russia & Belarus were banned because of their war against Ukraine and not still for doping. Which makes the double standard for Israel all the more obvious.

I remember being 10 and fearless and beating my family down a hill because I just didn't bother making any turns. Developing fear isn't why I stopped skiing (I hate ski boots), but it is why I was never going to be a racer.
