Student: But Prof Roberts, what if we aren't allowed to teach these books you're showing us?

Me: Then it's even more important that you know they exist.

If you're going outside Amazon for used books, remember that Abebooks is owned by them. Alibris is not and I have been buying from them since the 1990s.

And I usually find better deals on international books via eBay.

This scrum of pot-bellied, sunken-chested betas trying to bully an all-black clad badass Eastern European wasteland survivor while dressed like Men’s Wearhouse mannequins is peak cinema.
GLENN: Why don't you wear a suit? You're at the highest level in this country's office & you refuse to wear a suit. A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the office.

ZELENSKYY: I will wear a costume after this war will finish. Maybe something like yours. Maybe something better.

(1/X) I've done some posts about the narcissistic sociopath I work with and how dealing with him has influenced how I see Trump.

Now I'd like to do something about how it has influenced how i see the people who enable Trump.

It's what I call the "shitty people problem"....

If you don't know Stephanie Miller, you should. She and her crew of misfit toys got me through W, the Tea Party, MAGA, Trump, and will get me through Emperor Bone Spurs' hopefully short time in office.
There's a new person in the White House and we have some VERY choice words for that person... hear all those words right now in today's Stephanie Miller Out Of The Gate podcast, fresh and new in your Happy Hour podcast feed right now!
