One way that the reaction to Rob Reiner's murder mirrors Charlie Kirk's is that the best way to eulogize each of them is to quote their words, and in both cases, doing so pisses off conservatives.

I did not know Rob Reiner, but his work has always touched me, made me think, made me laugh, made me - at least for a couple of hours - a better person (once leaving the theater, all bets were off, however). Of all the deaths over the last several years, this one has me immobilized.
