Call me a carceral urbanist but I think that you should have to go to jail if you kill an entire family with your car.
Further, we should hold elderly drivers in particular responsible for the their actions because we need to create a deterrence effect to encourage people to stop driving.

I do think this offer has potential, but cutting service every year for the next six years is unacceptable.
The detail needs to put more priority on maintaining the continuity of DARTs services/restoring service as new funding becomes available.

So ultimately it was a favor to the chair and previous chair to show unity as a defensive measure if we end up back in Austin in 2027. And to do so, we offload costs of regional rail onto a hypothetical new entity that the RTC has to create, again, not great. it's a gamble to try an minimize pain.

This DHS memorandum says that the DHS General Counsel's office has adopted a new position that the Fourth Amendment allows entry into the home to make an arrest just based on an administrative warrant.
