Dave Kamper, American hero.
I was marshaling for most of the time at the corner of 4th and 4th (street and avenue). I tried to estimate how many people were walking past. My ballpark was 300-500 people a minute. I was in that spot for two hours. That’s 35,000-60,000, not counting however many didn’t pass that intersection.
There were an estimated 50,000 people marching in the streets to support an economic shutdown, in temperatures so cold your tears freeze to your face and exposed skin is in danger of frostbite. That was preceded by pickets, civil disobedience, and arrests.

If only there was some thing you could…do
This is abhorrent. The 4th amendment is the law of the land, and you need a warrant to enter people’s homes.

The courts must step in immediately and ICE must leave our cities.

I’d like to a report a rhetorical murder of two US Senators by State senate president. Grisly business by Louise Lucas but hey we do what we must
I have the utmost respect for Senator Kaine and Senator Warner but we do not need “coaching” on redistricting coming from a cuck chair in the corner. How about you all stay focused on the fascist in the White House and let us handle redistricting in Virginia. 10-1

I would personally really like to see @repjohnnyo.bsky.social name on H.R. 996 to impeach Secretary Noem, along with Congresspersons Delaney, Mfune & Elfreth. There is no reason not to sign on to this. I don't care that it will fail in the Senate. That's on them.

i think this gets at something important which is that normal people are rightly pissed off that they’re having normal time stolen from them by this ravaging horde of jumped up mall cops. everybody has to work in the morning! why is it THEIR job to hold their community together in such a basic way!
🔥 From @statuscoupnews.bsky.social : “This is nuts. What the fuck is going on? I’ve never protested in my life… they tell you it’s immigrants — it’s fucking anybody. They’re just trying to scare people. I’m not paid to be here. I have to work in the morning. This is wrong.”

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.
