⚠️ State gov workers WATCH OUT

DOGE is coming for your data. They are not just stealing from federal systems anymore. Time to resist the pressure they are putting on state governments.

Trump EO gives DOGE access to all federal systems, targets states, and injects cybersecurity risks
Following a Trump EO, OMB told all US agencies to provide DOGE with expansive data on and access to all databases, systems, and technologies. Experts say this effort threatens federal programs, jeopar...

currently you can actually lose your job with the government for acknowledging that pronouns exist.
I heard Stephen A. Smith tell CNN yesterday that "people are afraid they're going to lose their job for messing up a pronoun" and it really amazes me how many people don't realize they are awash in intentional propaganda designed to make them afraid of the wrong things and angry at the wrong people
Men are not constantly being told “you’re bad,” they are constantly being told “LEFT WING SJWS THINK YOU’RE BAD” by conservative propaganda. There’s a huge difference.

I have two sons, and I don't think I've ever seen messaging going "Don't be a boy" or "YOU'RE BAD."

Sure looks like that's in "I heard someone say that they heard..." territory, rather than actual direct experience.

Also worth noting, the main message from manosphere influencers is "YOU'RE BAD."

this is the first time I think that’s ever happened

the only approach to trump that has ever made sense was “slow him down as much as possible while rallying public support to your cause” and while most politicians, pundits, and big law partners don’t get this, some do, and lawyers in particular have the tools to act on that understanding
in the spirit of self-crit: in past years I have certainly been among those who have been vocally skeptical of the role of law and lawyers in meaningfully constraining armed agents of the state. but I do think we have to hand it to lawyers at this time
By my count, there had been 103 lawsuits filed in the last 20 days, and judges had issued 50 restraining orders requiring the Trump administration to reverse the terminations. Those decisions came in more than 23 states. www.politico.com/news/2025/04...

OK, its not a question of whether the phone is compromised. If you are the spy chief of a major country's intelligence service and your people have not compromised this phone, you should resign and find some other line of work

I will never forget when autism parents discovered autistic adults on the internet and their first thought was, "finally, someone who will understand how hard my life is" and we had to explain to them that we identified more with the children in their stories than with them as the parents.

I hate these “what have we become?” type posts because since Europeans first arrived in the Americas, some population has been subject to these kinds of policies and actions

Yes things are getting worse in some ways, but stop denying history. It’s racist among other things.

"The question of who DOGE is has taken on an almost metaphysical quality"

This ambiguity is a strategy to avoid accountability. Broligarchs want to steal our public wealth without being named.

‘Who Is DOGE?’ Has Become a Metaphysical Question
The acting head of the General Services Administration says it has no DOGE team. It merely lists at least a half-dozen DOGE affiliates on payroll and has a section of its building for DOGE use only.

Before I was disabled, I took meticulous care of myself in my late teens through late 20s. At age 29 I developed moderate ME/CFS, tipping into severe presentation during crashes.

So I'd go so far as to say that a lot of the people who take care of themselves this carefully are already sick.
You can eat all organic food, drink green juice every day, do yoga, get vitamin D and touch grass… and still become disabled.

Wellness culture can’t save you from disability. What’s worse, most wellness “gurus” will blame you when you become ill.

Wellness culture is toxic & eugenics adjacent.

This feels existential for US science:

To get any future medical research funding, an entire university would need to certify that it won't have programs doing DEIA work

No institution could *ever* comply.
