Because it has nothing to say. It is an extension of evil, creatively bereft ghouls trying to make a simulacrum of actual art, which by definition has a viewpoint beyond just “me”. It was ai slop before ai slop was mainstream. If you have nothing to say why the fuck would anyone listen

Sometimes I don't want to be able to receive texts AT ALL. I need a setting that bounces a text back & says "Sorry, x is not receiving texts right now, please try again another time"

Just turn off your phone you're saying, ok but what about when I turn it back on!?!?

For $36/year not only do *I* not have to shovel the sidewalk but that means *everywhere* I'd walk in the entire city would be shoveled too??

Feels like a deal to me...
Largest city in country that plows residential sidewalks is Rochester NY (200k people, fee added to annual property tax). They use private contractors to do it.

Illinois is joining the World Health Organization's Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network.

I refuse to sit by as Donald Trump undermines science and weakens our nation's ability to detect and respond to global health threats.

not sure if this is accurate, but I feel like ride share services (Uber/ Lyft) have gotten markedly worse recently and food delivery apps (Doordash/ GrubHub) have gotten markedly better.

This isn’t about convicting Don Lemon. It’s unlikely that will happen. It’s about intimidating journalists & making them censure themselves out of fear of consequences. It’s about eroding the free press because the administration can’t afford the criticism.
This just in: "Don Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy awards," Lemon's attorney Abbe Lowell says.

Disappointing to see people on here talking about their ideal ICE/CBP reforms.

It is a terrorism organization that is conducting terror campaigns.

Abolish.

At minimum.

That's it.

Am I supposed to be happy this Nazi who personally terrorized my neighborhood gets to retire in peace?

Am I supposed to believe anything less than abolishing DHS and prosecuting and punishing every last soul who has participated in this spectacle of fear and death is remotely acceptable?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ @chicagotribune.com raves A Red Orchid Theatre's Chicago premiere of BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA is "a gorgeous little 90-minute two-hander, a beautifully acted and directed." Now playing through February 22, 2026. bit.ly/4qDr9c7
Review: ‘Birds of North America’ at A Red Orchid Theatre offers autumnal balm for a cold winter night
The superb acting work by John Judd and Cassidy Slaughter-Mason is not unexpected at this particular theater, of course, but the design goes far beyond the typical.
