I’m a few chapters further into this amazing book and while the hive voice isn’t scaring me like it did the first time, it’s still super-creepy and unnerving every time it appears.
This morning I started the audiobook of @ajwhiteauthor.bsky.social ‘s YOU WEREN’T MEANT TO BE HUMAN which I’m loving so far, but a few minutes into it there’s jump scare in the form the first occurrence of the voice of an entity called the Hive. It was so startling I think I may have yelped.
