At the entrance to Tower Grove Park that I usually use on my walks, there’s a weird micro-climate that’s always a bit cooler. If it’s cold, then it’s chillier here. If it’s hot then it’s slightly less so. I’m standing at the border. The 1st pic looks toward the entrance, the 2nd looks into the park.

This is a pic of Noah from his first year. The reason for the blurriness is that when he was a baby he seemed to vibrate at a frequency that defied the camera to catch him in a still pose.

DAMIEN (2016, 1 season). I don’t care what anyone says, this show freakin ruled. I grew up on the original THE OMEN film (total classic) and this tie-in is way better than the sequel films. Barbara Hershey almost steals the show in her role as the latent Antichrist’s guardian. So good!

The phone tries to get me to watch a slideshow of Olive (cat) who passed a year ago and I can’t do it. A few minutes ago it suggested for the 1st time a slideshow of Jack who passed 10 years ago. I went for it and ended up in tears. This is his final photo, August 2015. He was almost 18 years old.

A year ago today we had to say goodbye to Olive, and I have had such a hard time with the grief. It just wasn’t fair. This is one of the very earliest pics of her on the first day that she felt confident enough to explore her new home.
