Bitch, Asheville is a blue college town and the county has gone blue for decades. I am so sick of this “if I pretend disasters only happen to red areas, it means I’m safe because I’m properly on the left!” No. You’re not safe. That’s why we save everybody.

I wonder if people in this country know that the VAST MAJORITY of people in the US did not contribute to the Black freedom movement. I'm always taken aback by how people talk online. Folks, your grandparents & great-grandparents DID NOTHING or they were in OPPOSITION, lol.

If the Epstein files have proven anything, it’s that the justice system isn’t broken; it’s working exactly as it was built to do: to shield the rich and powerful from accountability while victims are buried, ignored, or silenced.

AI makes up books that don’t exist - at least some on this list -even though the authors do. Read comments. Not the first time this crap has happened.

you have to imagine that this probably also happens when there doesn't happen to be a Herald reporter randomly sitting there to see it happen
"A Miami Herald reporter witnessed the agents forcefully removing Dayana — who is 4-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs 85 pounds — from her white Toyota Corolla. The footage shows Dayana yelling at the reporter to help her and that she was a United States citizen"

The administration's policy: "Let them die, especially those who are Black, brown, Indigenous, Muslim, poor, with the 'wrong' political/religious beliefs. Their deaths mean more of everything for 'us.'"

So much for "pro-life." This is pure evil in the service of supremacist hierarchies of worth.

Since his appointment, RFK Jr. has pursued a brutal vision of American health that several experts liken to a sort of eugenics. Kennedy has made it clear that certain deaths are acceptable or even preferable to a world where every child is vaccinated.

It’s NOT a national ban.

it creates no new civil or criminal penalties, it is a proposal to wield the power of the purse to discriminatorily deny care

Don't bother asking Sen. Bill Cassidy if this bothers him. He already sold what was left of his soul to help make this happen when he could have put at least one wrench in the works. His purported "concern" as a physician turned out to be hollow.
It is utterly catastrophic that RFK Jr. plans to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines.

It’s a betrayal of science, ethics, compassion, and the people of the United States.

And it was also a specific goal of Project 2025 (page 254).
