This should alarm everyone.

On Thursday, Florida, by unanimous vote, became the first state in the country to adopt “The Phoenix Declaration: An American Vision for Education.”
It was written by the Heritage Foundation, the same group behind Project 2025.

Corrupt and opportunistic pols always turn to wars they, themselves risk nothing to fight. Not only does it boost the armaments/technology sectors, at our expense, but it seeks to produce a false sense of emergency/national “unity” if anyone tries to strike back.
A quarter of the entire deployed US Navy is now stationed in the Caribbean.

That goes way beyond frighteners.

I care deeply about these folks. I also care deeply about all those who’ve had no home/house and weren’t in the new, horrific, job massacres -and who are being relentlessly criminalized.
Some news: tomorrow at 9am, Ted Koppel + CBS Sunday Morning will air a two-part story on the devastating surge of full-time workers being pushed into homelessness.

I'll be interviewed along with two families from There Is No Place for Us. It would mean a lot if you'd watch and help spread the word.

So the Dems who caves also bear responsibility for this. We’ll need to remind them, loudly, because they have already forgotten. Or worse, didn’t read the bill thoroughly. Or even wise:just didn’t care.

Starbucks’ CEO makes 6,666x what the average @sbworkersunited.org barista does. It would take less than one day of sales to finalize a fair contract.

Baristas at Starbucks corporate stores nationwide are on strike to fight this corporate greed and get the fair contract they deserve.

Maligning basic, safe OTC medications that most people have to resort to, like acetaminophen and ibuprofen, is part of a larger scam to blame people for their health problems (or their children's health needs or problems), so that the administration can claim people don't deserve care or support.
JD Vance calls ibuprofen "useless medication" and implies it's not "necessary, safe and effective."

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

1/ Thread. I've been actively fighting the Right since 1967. Although we're in a time of rising fascist nightmare, I am heartened to see that so many more people are becoming aware of the dangers. But suggestions like creating a "blue" Project 2028 or a progressive Tea Party are off the mark.
