Of Monsters & Mainframes by @barbaratruelove.bsky.social: If Universal monsters in space.
The cover for "Platform Decay" by Martha Wells - shows Murderbot on a ladder on a space station. Book itself is funny and exciting and heart-stopping, and way too short, as per all Murderbot books. The cover for "Wolf Worm" by T. Kingfisher - shows a Tiger Lily plant twining through the title, while its roots rest below. Along one branch are cocoons and black/gold flies. :shudder: Dread inducing gothic horror, will make you shiver just like all of her horror novels. Cover for "Of Monsters and Mainframes" by Barbara Truelove - shows a mouth of fangs with rainbow lips enclosing the title and a colorful exhaust trail for the spaceship in the top left corner. Very 1972 psychedelic illustration. What if a ship encountered scary (very scary!) classic monsters in space. Written mostly from the Ship's POV.

Along with the coffins I worked on the design for the family grave and its sculpted details, the shape of the gravestone would also hint to Victors water tower lab in silhouette with the “sphinx” feet motif too.
