Where do I even begin? Guillermo del Toro @realgdt.bsky.social has created an absolute masterpiece. I only wish I’d had the chance to experience it on the big screen. The story of Frankenstein has been told countless times, but never like this.

This workshop will initiate with people from Mexico, Latin America and Europe to strengthen the ties of stop motion and collaboration and, in exchange, education will be provided for free for one Mexican / Latinamerican student for the first ten years also.
Guillermo del Toro, Netflix, and Gobelins have teamed to open a stop-motion studio in Paris. The endeavor shares a kindred spirit with Mexico's El Taller del Chucho, also co-founded by del Toro, and will honor stop-motion legend Mark Gustafson.

From 2022, my other Burrower concept done for the MURDERBOT series (along with some earlier explorations and a keyframe sketch of the 2 Burrowers getting frisky on the Hopper from Episode 7!) The hopper was a place holder sketch I dropped in since the ship wasnt finalized yet. #creaturedesign

Meanwhile in space~ some early creature concept I did for MURDERBOT back in 2022! Great fun getting to work on some alien wildlife including the "Burrower". Final screen design by amazing Production Designer Sue Chan and her art team! More soon (and the series is now on AppleTV+) #creaturedesign
